Anthem just showed off their EUR 9,500 Anthem Statement Home Cinema Processor D2v (pictured) with Anthem Room Correction (ARC) at the bristol show last week. It's a preamp with a built-in broadcast quality processor, HD video switching, 24-bit/192kHz upsampling on all channels, balanced outputs and proprietary room correction.

Partnering this will be the P5 multichannel amplifier that offers 500W across each of its five channels so there is no shortage of power on offer.

The Anthem D2v has the latest Sigma Designs VXP "broadcast quality" digital video processing, Deep Colour support via HDMI, eight HDMI 1.3c inputs, two HDMI 1.3c outputs, Dolby Volume and a 7.1 PCM input at 24-bits/192kHz. This will allow you to not only show off the your impressive Home Cinema projector, your super fast o2 cheap broadband connection, but now you can really blow your friends away with the exquisite sound and video quality of the Anthem D2v.

In addition, two dual audio DSP engines of Anthem's own design allow decoding of the new Dolby and DTS high-definition audio codecs.
